AVer has announced the VC520, a professional video conferencing camera for collaboration in conference rooms.
Suitable for web or cloud-based conferencing, the VC520 features a 2X optical zoom PTZ (Point, Tilt, Zoom) camera, and an auto-focus lens allowing an operator, with a click of a remote, to move from person to person without interruption.
Complementing the visual capabilities of the VC520 is a speakerphone that combines a 10W speaker with three embedded directional microphones. It also offers daisy-chain functionality, ensuring that each participant’s voice is clear and balanced, even in larger rooms.
Designed with the demands of the modern office in mind, users can operate the VC520 alongside their chosen videoconferencing application, including WebEx, Google Hangouts, Skype, GoToMeeting, Skype for Business (Lync), and Zoom.
