Infocus turns surfaces interactive

Infocus’ interactive projectors, the IN3914 and IN3916, can turn surfaces interactive and are positioned as an affordable solution for classrooms and conference rooms.

The screen can be up to 12.2 metres away and both projectors include a LiteBoard Wand, which works like a mouse with any software both at and away from the screen. The LiteBoard Wand controls the cursor and has right and left mouse buttons, a scroll wheel, and an undo button. It works with PCs and Macs.

IN3900 projectors do not need calibrating. When the wand is in use, motion stability algorithms are designed for smooth cursor movement by analysing the size of the projected image, distance from the screen, and angle of the wand.

The projectors can be used from a table top, media cart, wall mount or ceiling mount with the ability to project images up to 1.5 meters wide with the projector under one metre away. The maximum projected image size can be as large as 3.7 meters.

Audio is accommodated with the series’ 20-watt stereo sound, audio processing, a dedicated microphone input, and assignable audio sources. The narration feature is designed so the presenter’s voice will be heard over audio tracks embedded in presentations or videos.

The IN3916 projector’s connectivity options include USB, HDMI, LAN, and RS232. Its moderator feature allows up to 32 computers to connect to a single projector using either a network or wireless connection. The moderator has the ability to view all connected PCs from a web page and select which computer screens to project. Four computer screens can be projected simultaneously.
