Biamp has launched a range of products at ISE 2019 including the desono line of conferencing speakers.
The desono line of conferencing speakers comes with with an optional AMP-450BP backpack amplifier. The desono C-IC6 conferencing speakers incorporate design features like termination-free connections using standard category cables, an easy-to-mount removable magnetic grill, and acoustic performance tailored for superior speech reproduction, making them suitable for conference rooms.
Accompanying the desono speakers is the optional PoE+ AMP-450BP amplifier that mounts cleanly onto the back of the speaker — eliminating the need for multiple cable runs back to the rack. Each backpack amp powers up to seven additional desono speakers via category cable, creating a 100 percent termination-free installation, enabling a structured cabling crew to complete the entire above-ceiling audio rough-in for a conference room.
Biamp's new Parlé family of Beamtracking microphones was also introduced at ISE 2019. The new TCM-X ceiling and TTM-X tabletop models join the TCM-1 pendant that each combine acoustic performance with sleek design. Biamp’s patent-pending Beamtracking technology follows meeting participants as they move around the room, ensuring the highest quality voice pick up wherever the person is sitting or standing.
The TCM-X is a low-profile, ceiling mounted 6-in microphone. For rooms where a tabletop microphone is desirable, the TTM-X is small enough to fit in the palm of a hand, minimising the amount of table real estate The new Parlé models feature four 90-degree tracking zones delivering dynamic, 360-degree room coverage, and each microphone uses just one channel of acoustic echo cancelation (AEC) for far more efficient processing resource utilization than conventional beamforming models.
At ISE 2019, Biamp also announced two pendant style models in its new desono peaker family — the P6 and P6-SM — that are suitable for retail, restaurants, casinos, and virtually any application that requires background and foreground music or paging. When used with Biamp’s new Crowd Mics audience participation system, the loudspeakers create an engaged audience, enabling presenters to encourage discussion and drive a truly collaborative event.
