Purelink adds 4K up/down scaler

PureLink has launched the UHD-Scaler 4K up/down scaler, which can scale inputs from 480i - 1080P to 4K60.

Designed to go inline to a signal path, users can insert the UHD scaler anywhere there is a need to scale inputs from 480i - 1080P to 4K60, or where there is a need to downscale 4K60 to 1080P or even down to 1024x768.

It is suitable for use in conference rooms, huddle rooms, houses of worship, education and corporate.

Features include HD to Full HD/Ultra HD upscaling up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 resolutions, Ultra HD to Full HD/HD downscaling to 1024×768@60Hz, it supports input & output resolutions from 480i up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 and is HDCP 2.2 compliant. Other features incldue the support of 25/30/50/60Hz frame conversion, it automatically scales any input signal to match the native resolution of the display or connected HDMI device and manually sets output to a specific resolution.

It supports data rates of up to 18 Gbps, and includes automatic output picture adjustment including aspect ratio.

It features a front panel, OSD (on-screen display) menu, and RS-232 control, and supports HDMI audio extraction via optical digital audio and 3.5mm analog audio.
